Pointe Technique

Ballet and contemporary repertoires

This is the question of feeling and style. Learning and feeling the difference between classical traditional pointe shoe techniques and Balanchine's style. Getting a different work approach for mastering pointe shoes knowing the weight of the body should remain over the metatarsals, and not sink back onto the heel as well as roll-up, press-relief for jump preparation, releasing your current technical problems and finding the best techniques for you.

To move into the professional dance world, it is essential for trained dancers to learn ballet and contemporary repertoires in order to prepare themselves for stage auditions or perform better providing in addition to former dance training, more artistic and technical direction.
